Baby, It's Cold Outside...Inside Too!

So last night I took advantage of the fact that all the dogs were kenneled and tried to snuggle with Sunny a bit. It was so cold in bed I think I got frostbite. I might lose an earlobe. I gave up after a few minutes and left without a word. Fuck him!!! He can kiss my big, (but shrinking!) old, white ass. And his attempt to totally downplay a certain issue when I know the whole truth is rapidly causing me to lose any respect for him. Does he seriously believe I just fell off a turnip truck or what? Be a man and admit what you did. Why are you trying to spare my feelings now? Asshat.

I went shopping yesterday. I hate shopping on weekends as a rule, and shopping during the Christmas season even more. But Friday and Saturday were double discount employee days so I sucked it up and braved the mall. And then the BPS store was out of two things that I really wanted so I had to go to the Military store anyhow. Then I went to the grocery store for chili fixings and that sucked too. I was going to stop at some small shops close to home but I was too stressed out to continue. I can hit them anytime. Anyhow - NO MORE SHOPPING ON THE WEEKENDS!!!

Friday I went up to the cabin. The driveway was plowed out, but I had to shovel the sidewalk and deck. I hauled a few things into the house and then went over to my friend Misty's shop to spend some of Sunny's money. (HEE!) I picked up a gift for his assistant and some gifts for my neighbors and then looked for a picture for over the sofa at the cabin. I found the perfect one (although it still isn't big enough to cover the off-center fade spot where the previous owner's had their picture) and even bought a couple of small pictures to sprinkle about. Then Misty came over and helped me hang all the pictures and other stuff I had stashed in the closet. I love the new pictures and may have to get more of this artist's work. Then we went out to eat and the food was fabulous. I'm sure I gained 10 lbs in butter alone. Once in a while should be ok though. I brought home half the entree and will probably toss it tomorrow because I just can't eat like that anymore. It causes issues, IYKWIM.

Today is work around the house day. I have to do laundry and some cleaning. Sunny is going out of town on business tomorrow and won't be home until late Tues so I have some time to myself (ThankYaJesus!) and think I'll get the bulk of the Christmas decorating done. I still haven't decided if I'm going to put up the tree. Bizzy hasn't seen a Christmas tree yet and it's just another thing for him to get into. He chewed on the power cord of the laptop Friday and Sunny was sitting right there. Thankfully nothing happened but he's still a puppy with a puppy's curiosity.

Well, better get on with my day.
